National Children's Science Congress(NCSC) is a platform for promoting science temperament among child scientist of the nation. The department of Chemistry,Darrang College used the platform of the District Level NCSC of Sonitpur to popularise Chemistry and its research ideas among school children. Dr Palashmoni Saikia, faculty member of the Department conducted a series of such interaction programmes at Tezpur Govt. H.S.School, Rashtrabhasa H.School, St. Josephs Convent H.S. School and Jamuguri H.S. School in July 2018.
