DBT STAR COLLEGE SUPPORT
The Department of
Chemistry, Darrang College is one of the six science departments of the
institution covered under the prestigious DBT Star College Scheme. Through the
implementation of the Scheme the department is benefited in the following
areas:
i.
The academic physical infrastructure has
been developed with the induction of new instruments.
ii.
Investigatory
projects were introduced for developing the research aptitude of the students.
iii.
Students got exposure to research
laboratories.
iv.
It became possible to organize outreach
and extension activities.
v.
New practical’s were designed and
introduced.
